The End of The Red Line
Jurong East

Hi guys! :) I'm writing a review about my journey to the end of the red line :3

On 22nd July 2014 my friend and I had a day off, hence we decided to go to Jurong East, Jurong East is the last station in Singapore MRT Red Line (North South), therefore I named my journey as the end of the red line. :p It is a new place for me since it is far from the place i live in which is in Toa Payoh. It takes up to 1 hour using MRT from Toa Payoh station.

After we’ve arrived, we decided to go to a mall called JEM which stands for Jurong East Mall (there is a direct connector between the MRT and JEM). Before we entered the mall we spared some time to take pictures and look at the great interior of its buildings. The buildings look simple yet classy, it looks unique and attractive since they are using plenty asymmetrical building shapes and a really nice mixture of contrast colors; red, black, brown, and white which then will help to create a fascinating atmosphere.

We went to many common shopping shops like H&M, Topshop, Cotton On, & Sephora. What's so good about visiting these stores is that there are final SALE posters in every store, since Singapore independence day is approaching soon. The color of the poster is vibrant red while the writing is in white. These combinations of colors will create and emphasize a more visible, attractive, and eye catching statement of the poster.

We ended our journey in the rooftop of JEM. From there, we could see very extraordinary scenery and a clearer view of JEM buildings interior. In the opposite building (another mall) there is a tree house, which is really unique and interesting to see as well :3

It was quite a long and tiring journey, but it's worth it. My friend and I had lots of fun and we enjoyed visiting this new place. I hope that later on, I will get a chance to revisit the end of the red line and create another great journey at some other great places :) Adios...!
